Our flagship service
The Archive Service
Museums don't just scan their collections — they catalogue, identify, date and research them. The Archive Service gives your family's history the same treatment, built by a founder who develops archival software used by real museums.

What's included
Every item individually named and catalogued
No more "IMG_0347.jpg". Instead: "1962 — Margaret & Thomas, Hunstanton beach.jpg", with a full catalogue record accompanying the collection.
People matched across your whole collection (optional focus)
If it fits your research goal, we track a chosen face and name through the entire collection — e.g. "Margaret appears in 47 photographs, spanning roughly 1958–1974."
General family history research
Independent research shaped around the one question you set us — using public records, local history sources, and archival databases.
One research goal — yours to choose
You tell us what you want to know. Match people across the collection, trace a person or branch, identify a mystery face or place, or something else entirely. Everything we do is built around your answer.
The Family Findings Document
A written report of everything we found — structured around your research question — delivered in the same folder as your digitised files.
Beyond photos and video: letters, certificates, documents and memorabilia can all be included — anything that carries the family story.
What we need from you
An honest word: research is only as good as its starting points. That's why every Archive order completes a short intake questionnaire at checkout. It asks for:
- Full names of key family members — including maiden names — and how they relate to you.
- Approximate dates and places — births, marriages, addresses, schools, workplaces, military service if known.
- Anything written on the backs of photos — names, dates, places, even half-legible pencil notes.
- Your one research goal — phrased as a single clear question. Optional: a family tree or supporting documents.
Research findings can never be guaranteed — records are sometimes lost to time. What we guarantee is a rigorous, documented search.
