Original character
A faded photograph can still hold valuable detail. Keep the original safe; never use cleaning liquids or tape on its surface.
Archival files
Loose photographs: 600 DPI JPEG, with TIFF on request. 35mm negatives: 3,600 DPI TIFF plus JPEG. Slide resolution is confirmed for the mount and equipment used.
