Rough counts are fine — we confirm exact numbers when your box arrives, and you only pay for what we successfully digitise. The minimum digitisation order is £25.00 before postage; any difference is shown openly as a minimum order adjustment.

3. Optional colourisation
Digital only — applied to your files, never your originals, and only where you explicitly ask.
+£8.00 per image — hand-refined colourisation from £15.00/image and complex work from £25.00/image are quoted individually
Targeted infrared dust correction
Not something you need to decide now. When your slides or negatives arrive, we assess them and tell you if they'd benefit from targeted dust correction — and we'll always agree it with you before any work or charge (guide rate £0.15 per eligible frame; silver-based black & white film isn't infrared-compatible, so we'd never suggest it where it can't help).

Got something unusual — a camcorder tape, a lantern slide, a reel-to-reel, an oddly-sized print? Describe it here. We'll review your order and email you a quote before charging. If we can't do it, we'll return it free of charge.

Archival rehousing (Preserve & Archive)
Charged once per rehoused item — there is no separate sleeve or kit fee on top. Basic preservation and rehousing only; conservation treatment, mould remediation and repair are quoted individually.

Output formats
Photos are scanned at 600 DPI (JPEG standard, TIFF on request). 35mm negatives are scanned at 3,600 DPI with a TIFF archival master plus a matching JPEG in the same order; slides receive TIFF and JPEG masters too. Video is delivered as MP4, audio as MP3 (WAV on request).
Camcorder formats (VHS-C, Video8, Hi8 and MiniDV) are currently quote-only — tell us what you have and we'll confirm pricing before any work begins.
